Layering: New York Summer Hot purple + Gosh Rainbow

Još jedan jelly sendvič na repertoaru je miks ljubičastog jellyja i flejkija. New York Summer Hot purple odličan mi je za ove sendviče iako nije tako vodenast kao Sinful Colors Daddy's girl pa flejkiji nisu toliko vidljivi. Ahhhh, da mi je ovakav plavi jelly... :x. Probala sam slično s Orly Royal navy - boja je savršena ali malo je pregust pa skroz prekrije flejkije.Tu su dva sloja Hot purple (jedan bi bio dovoljan ispod), pa sloj Rainbow, pa još jedan Hot purple i nadlak. Opet puno slojeva ali oba se lakića brzo suše i daju lijepo tanko nanijeti tako da mi ne smeta. Sendvič zapravo zaguši ono predivno prelijevanje flejkija ali ova kombinacija boja mi je svejedno predivna.  
Today I have another jelly sandwich for you - a purple jelly + flakie mix. New York Summer Hot purple works great for these sandwich manis although it's a bit more opaque than Sinful Colors Daddy's girl I swatched last, so the flakies don't show as much. Ahhh, I wish I had a blue jelly like this one.... :x. I tried to do this with Orly Royal navy - the color is perfect but it's too thick and it covers the flakies completely. There are two coats of Hot purple, a coat of Rainbow, another coat of Hot purple and tc in these swatches. Again, it's four layers plus tc, but both of these dry pretty quick and apply nice and thin so I don't mind. The sandwich actually hides that gorgeous color shifting in Gosh Rainbow but I love this color combination anyway.

Layering: Sinful Colors Daddy's girl + China Glaze Nova

Ovome obično pribjegnem kad trebam malo blinga ali želim izbjeći hrapavost glittera i stavljanje x slojeva nadlaka - jelly sandwich :D. Na fotkama je sloj Sinful Colors Daddy's girl, sloj China Glaze Nove pa opet 2x Daddy's girl i sloj brzosušećeg nadlaka. Da, to je opet 5 slojeva ali ova manikura je bila gotova za 20-tak minuta bez puno čekanja između slojeva. Novu sam već prije fotkala preko srebrnog CND Silver chromea ali daleko mi je zanimljivija u ovoj varijanti. Nekako mi ova manikura ima puno više "dubine" od običnog layeringa. Daddy's girl je dosta rijedak jelly ali baš zato odlično ide uz Novu i ne zagušuje njezin holo čak ni s dva sloja. Novin hex glitter se i ispod svjetluca kao lud. :x Definitivno trebam još jelly lakova - dosta!
I usually do this type of mani when I need some bling but want to avoid the chunkiness of glitter and using half a bottle of top coat - jelly sandwich :D. This is: one coat of Sinful Colors Daddy's girl, one layer of China Glaze Nova +  two more layers of Daddy's girl and one of tc. True, it's still 5 layers of polish but this mani was done in 20 minutes without much waiting in between layers. I swatched Nova once before, over CND Silver Chrome but I find it much more interesting in this combo. Somehow, there's much more depth in this than in a regular layering. Daddy's girl is a pretty thin jelly but that makes it work great because it doesn't smother the holo in Nova, even after two layers. The hex holo glitter in Nova sparkles like crazy even under those two layers :x. I'll definitely be needing more jelly polishes...

Layering: Nfu Oh 56 over Zoya Charla

Ovo je jedan od layering eksperimenata koje moram ponoviti ljeti. Iako je umjetno svjetlo uništilo velik dio ljepote ove kombinacije a fotić se zbunio i nije znao izoštriti, nadam se da se bar dio nazire. Uživo, ova manikura izgleda kao more! :x Dva sloja Zoye Charla i sloj Nfu Oh 56 - od ove dvije divote jednostavno ne može ispasti ništa loše.

Here's one of the layering experiments I will have to redo in the summer. Although the artificial light managed to ruin most of it's beauty and my camera got confused and couldn't focus, I hope you can at least see a bit of it. In real life, this looks like I'm looking at the ocean! Love! :x Two coats of Zoya Charla and one of Nfu Oh 56 - it couldn't look bad if it tried.

Milani Totally cool

Iskoristit ću ovaj kišni sivi dan i staviti jedan stari zimski swatch (opet s čevapčićima nažalost :D). Jelly sa sitnim glitterom jedan mi je od najdražih finiša, zapravo - jedna od najdražih kombinacija finiša. Volim kako se dodavanjem slojeva dobiva dubina sa šljokicama koje sjaje ispod indigo baze - divno. :x Na fotkama su tri sloja, no Totally cool se suši relativno brzo pa to nije problem. Poslije sam dodala sloj China Glaze Fairy dust, totalno suvišan moram priznati, ali morala sam i to isprobati.

This gray and rainy day is a good chance to post some old winter swatches (with nubbins again, unfortunately :D ). Jelly + microglitter is one of my favorite finishes, or shall I say - combination of finishes. I love it how the layers add depth to it and how the glitter shines through the indigo base - gorgeous. :x There are three layers in these pics, but Totally cool dries pretty fast so it wasn't a problem. Later I added a coat of China Glaze Fairy dust, totally unnecessary I admit, but I had to try it.

The travelling nail polish: Manhattan 610K

Jeee, stigao je! :D Nadala sam se da će swatchevi biti ljepši ali budući da mi je taman prije njegovog dolaska puknuo nokat, nisam baš imala izbora - slikat samo tri nokta (što mi izgleda prilično čudno) ili ga pofotkat na ovim čevapčićima. Sorry! Manhattan 610K mi je predivan i sam, zagasito ljubičasti krem lakić koji se nanosi u jednom sloju, ali ima li što ljepše od kombinacije ljubičastog laka i flakieja?  :x U paketiću s lakićem dolazi i mali svitak s imenima svih blogerica koje je posjetio a Annie mi je u paketić dodala i par slatkiša - čokoladicu i finski slatkiš - slatki tj. slani korijen. Hvala, Annie! :)

Yay, it has arrived! :D Sadly, the nail on my left index broke just before it arrived so it was either - do weird 3-nail swatches (which looks really weird) or file them all and show you the nubbins. Sorry about that. I love Manhattan 610K alone it's a gorgeous royal purple creme one-coater, but I just looove a purple + flakies combo. :x Along with the polish, there was also a scroll in the package with the names of all the bloggers it has visited and Annie also added some candy - a chocolate bar and a Finnish specialty - salty licorice. Thanks, Annie! :)

Layering: China Glaze Kaleidoscope him out over OPI Sonic bloom

Konačno, malo proljetnih boja... Nažalost, neće ih baš biti puno jer mi je jučer pukao nokat na kažiprstu i ostaje mi samo postanje starih zimskih swatcheva. Šmrc... ;( OPI Sonic bloom je tirkizni lakić sedefastog/bisernog finiša. U bočici se prelijeva iz tirkizne u lila ali to se nekako izgubi na noktu. Iako mi je boja lijepa, nikako mi ne sjeda ovaj finiš pa sam morala dodati mali holo bonus - China Glaze Kaleidoscope him out. Sad je puno bolje ;). Sviđa mi se kako se ispod holo sloja i dalje nazire zelenkasti odsjaj Sonic blooma.

Finally some spring colors. Unfortunately, there won't be many more in the next week or so since the nail on my left index finger broke and I'm left with posting only old winter swatches... ;(. OPI Sonic bloom is a turqoise with a pearl finish. In the bottle it shows some lilac duochrome but that dissapears once you apply it. Although I love the color, I'm not that fond of pearl finish so I had to add some holo to it - China Glaze Kaleidoscope him out. Much better! ;) I love how the green flash of Sonic bloom still shows under the holo.

Zoya Miley

Čudan dan, čudan lak... Zoya Miley je moja varijanta nudača, moj "palate cleanser" kako bi ga Lacquerista nazvala, lak za kojim posežem kad mi dosade šljokice, shimmer, flejkiji i sve što svjetluca. No taj odmor ovaj put nije potrajao, kao što se vidi iz priloženog jer već idući dan sam morala dodati i malo shimmera. :D Miley je neobičan prozirni blijedo ledeno-sivkasto-lila jelly i vjerojatno najelegantniji lak u mojoj kolekcijici. Obožavam ga :x.   Na fotki su 3 sloja, bez nadlaka. Zapravo me nijansa malo podsjeća na Zoyu Marley, iako je finiš potpuno drugačiji, možda zato sličnost u imenima...

A strange day, a strange polish...Zoya Miley is my version of a nude polish, my "palate cleanser" as the Lacquerista would call it, the polish I reach for when I get enough of all the glitter, flakies, shimmer and all things sparkly. It didn't last long this time, as you can see in second pic, since I topped it with some shimmer the very next day :D. Miley is a strange sheer pale icy-grayish-lilac jelly and probably the most elegant polish in my collection. I adore it :x. There are 3 coats in the first picture, no tc. The shade reminds me of Zoya Marley a bit, although the finish is completely different, and the names are similar too...

Ovo ljepše izgleda uživo: Zoya Miley + CND Crimson sparkle (roskasto-bakreni shimmer) i China Glaze Fairy dust (nadlak s holografskim shimmerom).

This looks better IRL: Zoya Miley + CND Crimson sparkle (a pinkish-copper shimmer) and China Glaze Fairy dust (holographic top coat).

Layering: OPI Let me entertain you over Milani Totally cool

Čudan eksperiment... Već sam uploadala swatcheve OPI Let me entertain you ali nekako mi je, unatoč odličnoj formuli.... malo pre-pink.:D Zato sam ga odlučila isprobati preko nečeg tamnijeg i izabrala Milani Totally cool, indigo jelly koji i sam već ima malo glittera u sebi. Mislim da mi ipak bolje stoji ovako nego sam - čudno si izgledam s rozim noktima.

Here's a weird layering experiment... I already swatched OPI Let me entertain you but, in spite the lovely formula and the glass-fleck, for me it was a little... well - too pink. :D So I decided to layer it over something dark and I chose Milani Totally cool, an indigo jelly with some pink glitter. I think this suits me better layered than alone - I feel weird with pink nails.

Layering: Claire's No-name blue glitter over Orly Royal navy

U gužvi sam pa slabo stignem slikati ovih dana, plus nokti su mi u komi, ali moram staviti nekakav swatch da proslavim 100 sljedbenika! Wow, sad tek imam feeling da ovo malo mjestašce na webu mogu nazvati pravim blogom! :) Znam da sam velik dio sljedbenika stekla s mini darivanjem, ali stići do 100 dobar je osjećaj, bez obzira. Hvala vam cure što komentirate i pratite moj mali blogić!  >:D<
A sad na swatch... Iako sam rekla da ću se odmoriti od šljokica do Božića, preovisna sam o blingu da bi to uspjela izdržati. Claire's plavi glitter koji sam kupila u Grazu ipak nije bio dovoljno gust da se nanosi sam pa sam se ipak odlučila za layering - dva sloja Orly Royal navy, dva sloja Claire's glittera i dva sloja Sechea. Boje lakova su jako slične. Zanimljivo, da su šljokice četverokutne, vidi se samo skroz izbliza. Obožavam ovu plavu, ne mogu je se zasititi.

I've been too busy lately to take any pics and my nails are a mess but I had to post a swatch to celebrate 100 followers! Wow, now I feel I can call this little place on the web a real blog! :) I realize many followers joined because of the mini giveaway but it still feels nice to reach 100. Now, on to the swatch... Although I said I would take a glitter-break until Christmas, seems I'm too addicted to bling to avoid it for more that three days. Claire's no-name glitter I got in Austria wasn't thick enough to be worn alone so I decided to layer it. These are two coats of Orly Royal navy, two coats of Claire's glitter and two coats of Seche Vite. The two blues are very similar. The glitter is square-shaped, but it's visible only in macro shots. I love this type of blue, can't get enough of it.

Claire's Chunky silver over Essence Rock'n'roll

Još jedan lak iz Magic Maid shopa. :)  Nadala sam se da će i ovaj lak imati fenomenalan efekt poput Chunky purple i Chunky blue koje si želim oduvijek, ali nema. Ipak je lijep srebrni glitter. Budući da se slabo prima za nokat, počela sam sa slojem Essence Rock'n'rolla, srebrnog foil glittera. Zapravo su sitni srebrni glitteri isti i u Chunkyju i u Rock'n'rollu, samo Chunky ima i veliki šestorokutni glitter. Anyway, ovo su 3 sloja preko jednog sloja Essencea, bez nadlaka. I puno je ljepši i blještaviji uživo.
Another polish  I got from Magic Maid's blog shop. :) I hoped this polish would have the same amazing effect as Chunky purple or Chunky blue I've been lemming forever, but it doesn't. It's still a nice silver glitter. Since I had trouble making the glitter stick to the nail instead of hanging on the brush, I started with a layer of Essence Rock'n'roll, a silver foily glitter. The small glitter particles are actually the same in both polishes but Chunky also has this large hexagonal glitter. These are three layers over one layer of Essence, no TC. It looks much better and brighter IRL. ;)

Art de Lautrec 07B over Nubar Raspberry truffle

Art de Lautrec 07B je prvi lak koji sam zgrabila kad mi je stigao paketić s Alice & Jo's havesentials, ali imala sam malu nezgodu sa S-he nadlakom, točnije - nadlak mi je "rastopio" lak (gadan prizor koji definitivno nije bio za slikanje :). A budući da je isto smeđi, odlučila sam dodati jedan sloj preko Nubar Raspberry truffle. Što mislite? Čokoladno smeđa + holo, meni paše! ;)  Inače nisam neki obožavatelj kombiniranja više lakova (tzv. layeringa) jer obično izgleda ful debelo na noktima (baš kao i na ovim fotkama) i skidanje je noćna mora ali ipak dobro dođe kad vam dosadi lak a ne da vam se skidati ga. 07B se suši malo mat pa sam ovdje dodala sloj Catrice brzosušećeg nadlaka (OK, brzosušeći baš i nije ali bar je sjajan).

Art de Lautrec 07B was the first polish I tried from my Alice & Jo's havesentials haul, but I had a little accident caused by S-he Top coat - my polish sort of dissolved underneath the top coat (not a pretty sight :) ). Since I already had a brown polish on, I figured I'd slap a coat over Nubar Raspberry truffle. What do you think of the result? Chocolate brown holo - works for me! ;) I'm usually not a big fan of layering - it often looks like I have 6 coats on (like in these pics) and it's a nightmare to remove, but works well when you're bored with a polish and too lazy to remove it. 07B dries a bit matte so I added a coat of Catrice quick-dry top coat (not quick-drying at all btw., but at least it's glossy).

Nfu Oh 52 over Orly Royal Navy

Jedva sam čekala da mi ovaj lakić stigne, ali bila sam prelijena za skidanje postojećeg laka pa nanošenje tri sloja Nfu Oha (toliko ovim jelly flakiejima obično treba) pa sam opalila samo jedan sloj preko Orly Royal Navy koji mi se našao na noktima. :D Možda bi ovi tirkizni flakieji ljepše išli uz neku kontrastnu boju... ne znam. Btw, skraćujući  nokte uslijed puknuća nokta na srednjem prstu malo sam se zanijela s rašpicom. Sad su mi nokti ful čudni, kao dječji :-S, pa mi se ni swatchevi koje napravim baš ne sviđaju (zato su samo dva ovaj put).
